Meet Your Retreat Leaders
Kate Hayes, MA - MHC, ICF - ACC
Kate Hayes is a therapist, leadership development facilitator, and community builder dedicated to helping people heal, grow, and lead with authenticity. Drawing on both evidence-based practices and humanistic approaches, Kate supports individuals in moving beyond burnout, building resilience, and creating meaningful change in their lives and work. With a background spanning therapy, coaching, and organizational leadership, she creates spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered—whether in one-on-one sessions, group programs, or community initiatives. Kate is also a certified meditation teacher and reiki practitioner.
Jessica Spaman, LICSW
Jessica is a therapist, holistic motherhood wellness coach, founder of Emotions in Motion, and mom of two with a passion for empowering moms to live healthier, happier, and more connected lives. She supports women along their healing, growth, and motherhood journeys—helping them prioritize self-care, reconnect with their calm, confident, compassionate Self, and embrace a more balanced, intentional way of living and mothering. Harnessing the power of community, Jessica is passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where women can step away from the noise, reconnect with themselves and others through authenticity and vulnerability, and feel truly seen, heard, connected, and a sense of belonging. She is also a certified personal trainer and 200-hour yoga teacher.

FRIDAY
3:00–4:00 PM — Arrival & Check-In: Settle into your room, wander the property, breathe. Sign up for an optional Reiki Healing Session. f
4:00–6:00 PM — Opening Circle: “Landing Together” A grounding welcome, shared agreements, meaningful connection, and reflective exercises to explore: Why are you here? What are you carrying? What do you need?
(Bring journal + pen to all workshops)
6:00 PM — Dinner: Nourishing and freshly prepared by private chef
7:00–9:00 PM — Evening Workshop: “Mapping the Moment ”A blend of the Wheel of Life and a meaningful ritual to orient you to where you are—and what’s ready to shift.
SATURDAY
7:30 AM –Morning Yoga + Meditation + Breathwork + Journaling
8:45 AM – Breakfast: Nourishing and freshly prepared by private chef
9:15–11:45 AM — Morning Workshop: “Anchored In What Matters”A narrative-based exploration of identity, values, and the stories you carry—and the ones you’re ready to rewrite.
12:00–12:45 PM — Lunch: Nourishing and freshly prepared by private chef
12:45–3:00 PM —Free Time: Optional nature walk/hike, stroll/shop downtown Woodstock, or Reiki
3:00–5:00 PM — Afternoon Workshop: “Coming home to your Self: An Inner Parts Exploration” A gentle, guided IFS (Internal Family Systems) experience to explore, befriend, and nurture your inner mom parts that carry so much, and come home to your calm, confident, and compassionate Self.
5:00–5:30 PM — Break
5:30–6:30 PM — Dinner: Nourishing and freshly prepared by private chef
6:30-8:30 PM — Evening Circle: “Campfire Connection” An intentional evening of connection around the campfire, blending conversation, music, and embodied movement — inviting fun, connection, and joy.
SUNDAY
7:30 AM –Morning Yoga + Meditation + Breathwork + Journaling
8:45 AM –Brunchf + Pack
9:30 –10:30 AM —Workshop: “Goal Alignment” A grounded goal and ritual setting session to help you step into the year with clarity and intention.

All spaces are designed to be comfortable and restful, giving you a chance to fully relax and enjoy the retreat.

Yes! Meals will be nourishing, seasonal, and prepared with care by a local chef. We’re happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions and preferences (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies, etc.). Please share your needs with us when you register, so we can plan accordingly.

OQ Farm in Bridgewater Corners, Vermont is a peaceful, thoughtfully restored retreat space nestled in the Green Mountains, designed for rest, connection, and renewal. The property blends rustic charm with quiet elegance, featuring cozy farmhouse interiors, open gathering spaces, and expansive natural surroundings. It offers a sense of seclusion while still feeling warm and welcoming.

Our movement sessions are gentle and adaptable for all levels - no experience required. Please note that the farm buildings may require climbing stairs, so it may not be fully accessible for individuals with mobility needs. If you have specific questions about accessibility, please reach out so we can support you.

We encourage participants to unplug during the retreat so you can be fully present. Think of this as a chance to take a much-needed break from screens. That said, we’ll provide an emergency contact number you can share with loved ones in case they need to reach you during your stay.

This retreat is ideal for anyone who identifies as a mother and is seeking rest, renewal, and connection in community. It is facilitated by therapists, but it is not group therapy. You can expect guided workshops, reflective practices, and restorative time in nature. If you’re curious, open, and ready to tend to yourself in a supportive environment, this is for you.

All bookings are non-refundable. We know life can be unpredictable, but because of the planning and preparation involved in creating this retreat experience, we’re unable to offer cancellations or refunds once you reserve your spot.

We’ll have moments during the retreat when photos may be taken to capture the experience and the beauty of our time together. These images may be shared with participants and used for future retreat promotion. That said, your comfort comes first - if you’d prefer not to be photographed, just let us know at check-in and we’ll honor your preference.
